I’ve never experienced that many people. Much less, that many Catholics. All in one place, from all over the world. We pretty much forced Madrid to shut down it’s public transportation for the city with the exception of World Youth Day participants. Although I’ll be sweating to death in a field tomorrow night, I can only imagine the faith, the spirituality, and the awe that will pulse through the crowd tomorrow night.
